Shared NAS over the internetI am digitizing all of my fathers old diapositives and also his collection of home videos (filmed with Mini-DV). At the same time, I am also digitizing my own home video collection plus I have a fair amount of newer material both photos, drone-vids and so on. Since he is not very technical I was thinking that maybe I could “host” a NAS at my place running PLEX containing all the material. Then we could both use it while I would be the admin of the NAS. We both have fiber connections (100 Mbps) so speed should not be an issue. I was thinking maybe the QNAP 453B would be sufficient for the job or should I look at something else for this purpose?
