QNAP Thunderbolt 3 to 10GbE Network Converter QNA-T310G1T and QNA-T310G1S

Edit on your 10GBe NAS over Thunderbolt 3 with the QNA-T310G1T and QNA-T310G1S

The new QNAP QNA Thunderbolt 3-to 10Gbe Network Converter allows easy access to 10Gbe high-speed Ethernet for Mac or Windows computers with Thunderbolt3 type-C connection, making portable devices without a 1Gbe port easy connection to a 1/2.5/5/10GBe network. With the convenient and portable QNA-T310G1T and QNA-T310G1S converter, you can easily establish a high-speed networking environment between the TB3 computer and other 10Gbe devices or NAS, and enjoy faster and faster transmission speeds for a smooth collaborative workflow. Significantly improve work efficiency and vastly improving your workflow.

Live 10Gbe Editing on a NAS over Thunderbolt 3

Mac or Windows computers with TB3 can access files directly FAST via Thunderbolt 3 and 10Gbe via QNA series with file transfer performance of 1,069MB/s. The Thunderbolt3 and 10G dual networking option in the QNA-T310G1T and QNA-T310G1S, the workforce is faster and then you can use the NAS capabilities to distribute work via your network or the internet as needed.! It is worth mentioning, however, that if your computer uses a Thunderbolt 2 connection, you cannot use a TB2-to-TB3 adapter (such as the official Apple adapter)to switch to Thunderbolt 3, as the QNA-T310G1T and QNA-T310G1S are system bus powered and the additional adapter will disrupt this process, so you will not be able to use the QNA Series.

These speeds were achived in a RAID 0 environment using SSD.

Fast and Cheaper Alternative to Thunderbolt NAS

As image resolution has evolved from 1080p to higher image quality in 4K and 8K, media workers often face problems of insufficient storage space and bandwidth when performing image editing. With the QNA series of converters, the bandwidth problem will be solved. There are two models in this series:

QNA-T310G1T with Thunderbolt 3-to-10GbE 10GBASE-T port (supports 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M five-speed network)

QNA-T310G1S with Thunderbolt 3-to-10Gbe 10G SFP+ fiber optic ports make it easy to add 10GbE networking capabilities to Thunderbolt 3 devices more enterprise setups.

Coupled with the QNAP 10GbE switch, you can create an affordable 10GbE network environment for media studios, and enjoy the high efficiency of 10GbE high-speed file transfer, across your multi-user system environment.

Modern and Appealing Design

The QNA-T310G1T and QNA-T310G1S have a beautiful metallic colour shell that can be used in conjunction with any device.

Light, Portable and No Mains Power

The QNA-T310G1T and QNA-T310G1S requires no additional power (using the thunderbolt USB-C connection on the host machine), making it easy to carry around and use wherever you go.

Enhanced Heat Dissipation

The fine grooves on the QNA series casing increase the heat dissipation rate and ensure that high-speed transmission is not adversely affected by heat degradation.

Connection, installation, very simple

Connect the QNA converter to a Mac® or Windows® computer with the included ThunderboltTM 3 cable, and connect the QNA converter to a 10GbE network port, 10Gbe switch or 10Gbe NAS. Use an RJ45 Cat 5e / Cat 6a or Cat 7, or SFP + DAC wire depending on whether you need the QNA-T310G1T or QNA-T310G1S).
