max ram synology rs815rp+ 16GB ? 2 x 8GB ?
title says it all really – I have already upgraded one of my NAS’s to an 8GB ram single stick … will the synology rs815rp+ support 2 x 8GB sticks for 16 GB total ?
Officially Synology recommends upgrading only up to 8GB of RAM. But CPU itself supports dual channel up to 64GB.
In fact, there is actually combo RAM available online. Search for: 16GB (2x8GB) Kit RAM memory for Synology RackStation RS815+ DDR3 SO DIMM 1600MHz
