TerraMaster F4-210 vs QNAP TR-004
And last question : I planned to buy a 4 bay NAS and I don’t Know which one is better for my situation between the Terra Master F4-210 and the QNAP TR-004 I have a 250€ budget.
No, you can not move existing RAID into another enclosure. This is because, every system often keeps its own operating system files on the RAID. If new enclosure do not find these files it will ask to reformat the system.
First of all QNAP TR-004 is not a NAS. It is direct attachable enclosure. This means – only one person can access data at the given time. You can not share file across the network or internet. Speed-wise Qnap will be faster because it is direct attached. But Terramaster will have much more functionality and apps available in comparison.
