Qnap TS-462 vs TerraMaster F4-223

These two NAS models are very similar. If you want to know which one can deliver better data transfer speeds then the answer is Qnap. PCie slot allows for 10GbE upgrade. Without the upgrade TerraMaster 2X2.5GbE will be faster compared to a single LAN port.

Regarding NAS backups, Qnap 10Gbit USB will be twice as fast compared to Terramaster. There is no mention about HDMI type and NVMe slot speed just yet.

Regarding the software, Terramaster will allow different size drive mixing. Qnap only allows default RAID options. Mobile apps will be better on Qnap so as Computer based apps.
