4K HDR PLEX rack server

Am looking to upgrade a home standalone NAS server currently only used for cloud file storage to upgrade a huge 4K PLEX library as well as host a home business (webhosting, email server). We are moving to a new home and was looking into building a rack for all the network and business equipment infrastructure to convert in one easy accessible space.

Dealing with 4K in Plex is a challenging task. People with Qnap NAS often get a dedicated GPU for transcoding so that other apps and processes are not affected when video conversion is active.  Some other people use offline transcoding and prepare a smaller video format for remote streaming so that a server do not need to convert it on the fly.

Here is a 4-bay 4K Plex server with on the fly conversion option:

Few 12 BAY options for 4K transcoding:

Xeon is also good for things like web hosting and VM.
