DDR3 instead of DDR3L in a TS-351

I have a ts-351 and am wondering if I can install DDR3 ram instead of DDR3L in my NAS. I have the ram from a scrapped laptop and would like to use it to upgrade. Thanks.

 

You won’t be able to put DDR3 into DDR3L slot and get it to work because boards utilizing DDR3L expect your memory to work on 1.35V, compared to 1.5 v that DDR3 memory requires.
