How to update Plex on Qnap and Synology

In the Plex server Admin panel there will be a notification about new Plex version availability.

Click on ‘Server Update Available’

Click on download. It will automatically download the correct Qnap or Synology Plex update file.

But always check if there is a newer version here LINK

You can then open Package Center (Synology) or AppCenter (Qnap).

Click on ‘Manual Install‘ (Synology), or plus symbol on Qnap.

Qnap Here

Select an SPK file for Synology or QPKQ file for Qnap and click Install.

And there you have the latest Plex version.
