macOS Ventura release date – bad news for Drobo users

macOS Ventura launched on October 24, 2022.

With this update, you will lose the ability to connect your Drobo USB/Thunderbolt boxes.

Before you upgrade make sure you have copied all data to a new storage device. Similar functionality that allows drive mixing can be achieved with Synology or Terramaster NAS systems.

If you need top performance via Thunderbolt connection you may consider Pegasus, Areca or Terramaster DAS bozes.
