It says that the TS-253e has 8 GB of onboard RAM (non-expandable). But I bought a TS-253e on the Black Friday sale (2023) and was surprised to see that it had two memory slots, only one populated. However, I’ve not tried to upgrade it as I currently have no matching memory module.
That’s good news. You only need to match the Hz frequency, not size.
