Synology DS218+ vs Qnap TS-251B

I am planning to buy either Synology DS218+ or Qnap TS-251B. I am confused which one to buy. I need the advice and what is the use of flash memory in Qnap TS-251B and what is the flash memory size in Synology DS218+.

The DS218+ and TS-251B by default feature 2GB RAM (can be upgraded up to 8GB or more). Both models also come with exactly the same CPU. Looking at the hardware specs- Qnap is beating Synology. But not always hardware matters. Most of the apps do not need anywhere near 100MB/s transfer speed. Speed matters if you decide to use your NAS as video editing storage, web server, virtual machine, MySQL server. Synology outperforms Qnap with its software like DS Drive, Moments, cloud synchronization and many more apps.

File Transfer (1 x 10GbE)  Windows Download 647 MB/s  Windows Upload 519 MB/s

File Transfer with Encryption (1 x 10GbE) Windows Download 615 MB/s   Windows Upload 320 MB/s

DS218+ Top Speed is limited to 1GbE port which is 100-120MB/s.
