Solution for working fast on 4k video edits and colourist work

Edit workflow solutions? I have a very small video production company. I need a solution for working fast on 4k video edits and colourist work. ideally 2 computer workstations (iMacs) would be able to access the files and share workflow. Ive looked at the Drobo system and im looking at NAS systems. I would love some practical advice as I’m just not sure whats best to go for.

Direct attach solutions like drobo will be limited to a single user at the time. Whereas NAS will allow multiple users to connect and share their projects. The 4K do demands higher bandwidth than regular gigabit ethernet. You should look at something like 10GbE or Qnap DAS/NAS solution like TS-453BT3 or x882T / 1282T.
