Ds420j vs TS-431p
Currently have TS-410, running 3 6Tb Raid5, can’t run 4. 4th 6tb on is own. Been working great.
Looking for a new NAS.
Light work. mostly for streaming video, backing up personal Data (videos and Photo’s).BTW, I do have a synology RT2600 router, really like it and the Safe Access controls for Children.
For a simple home use I would pick DS420j. It is cheaper but more multimedia friendly then Annapurna based NAS. Also Synology apps will massively increase value for money. You will get built in multimedia player and even smart photo organiser and more.
