MANUAL INSTALL

Download docker:- Open Package Center on your TerraMaster NAS.
- Navigate to the beta packages section.
- Download and install docker.

Open Ports:
- If you have a firewall enabled, make sure to open ports 8000 and 9000 on your NAS.

Enable SSH:
- Enable SSH terminal access on your TerraMaster NAS. You can usually find this option in the settings or control panel.
- Ensure to disable SSH after Portainer installation for security reasons.

Connect via SSH:
- Open your terminal on a Mac or PuTTY on Windows.
- Use the following command to connect to your NAS:

ssh username@NAS_IP_ADDRESS
Replace
username
with your SSH username andNAS_IP_ADDRESS
with the IP address of your TerraMaster NAS.

Install Portainer:
- Once connected via SSH, execute the following command to install Portainer:

sudo docker run -p 8000:8000 -p 9000:9000 -p 9443:9443 --detach --name=portainer --restart=always -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock -v /volume1/docker/portainer:/data portainer/portainer
- Once connected via SSH, execute the following command to install Portainer:

Access Portainer:
- Open a web browser and enter your NAS IP followed by port
:9000
(e.g.,http://NAS_IP_ADDRESS:9000
). - This will take you to the Portainer dashboard.
- Select your container server as “LOCAL”.
- Open a web browser and enter your NAS IP followed by port
