I have 10’ks + of music files and I intend to load an android vm on the QNAP so I can install https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fillobotto.mp3tagger which is the best tagger I have found to clean my collection.
However i am at an impasse and was hoping you might be able to help. How can i get that VM / app to see my hard drive?
Or is there a way i can mount a folder as an sd card into the VM?My issue is the app does not see my music.
Yes, you can connect peripherals via USB port. There should be no problem. Just one warning from Qnap:
*USB 3.2 Gen 1 devices must be connected to a USB 2.0 port. (Please note: Virtualization Station does not support USB 3.2 Gen 1 passthrough. If your USB 3.2 Gen 1 device is plugged into a USB 2.0 port of NAS but is unavailable, the device may be incompatible.)
