Is there Synology RS219 coming out?

Rack Mount NAS. Hello just wondering if you might be able to answer quick question. Have been looking at rack mount nas’ for general home use. As its only for home use have been looking to keep budget low and have been researching synology RS217. before moving forward with this wanted to check synology not updating to a newer version anytime soon and do you know of any other Rack mount NAS in same class as the RS217.

There might be an RS219 coming out, but there is no such information circulation anywhere on the internet. If Synology do release RS219, the improvement would not be noticeable much. It is a budget class NAS for simple network file storage. It comes with fantastic 5Years warranty, ensuring that nothing will go wrong with it. I would not wait for a new release and get the one available today.
