reading your 2yr old review of IP cameras for synology. Want the RLC-422 you recommend but looks like that is no longer in production. Curious if the successor would be the RLC-522 or the RLC-423 (or something else), and if that is compatible with the synology?

Note: E1 pro supports ONVIF and RTSP protocols and it doesn’t support FTP. Therefore, you could add E1 pro to QNAP and Synology, but you could not use FTP to upload E1 Pro’s videos to other NAS/hard disk.

If you NAS is a regular NAS or a network hard disk, you may use FTP to upload videos to your NAS/hard disk.

How to set up FTP for Reolink Products

If your NAS is QNAP or Synology, in addition to uploading videos to your QNAP or Synology via FTP server, you may also add the cameras directly to your QNAP or Synology following the below articles.
