UPDATE 15/05/2020 DS220+ internal hardware and RAM upgrade
Looks like DSM is not stored on HDD RAID but on dedicated SSD chip. Also bad news. There is no second RAM slot. Which means upgrade will need to be done via single 16GB RAM stick.

Supported RAM : D4NESO-2666-4GA and dual LAN for load balancing or link aggregation.
RAM upgrade seem to be limited to a single stick. And it will be much harder to do unofficial 16GB RAM upgrade. This will require dismantling the the NAS in order to reach the other RAM slot.

Along with DS920+, DS420+, DS720+ also DS220+ is now added to official Synology website. Again they highlight the dual LAN ports and CPU turbo boost up to 2.9GHz.
