TerraMaster 24-bay rack U24-722-2224 Revealed
Highly scalable storage server designed to meet enterprise virtualization, data-intensive applications and service continuity requirements. Equipped with Intel XEON 2224G 3.5 Ghz quad-core processor, 8GB DDR4, 4 Gigabit network interfaces. Specifically designed for flexible management of storage space, it can provide more than 30,000 IOPS and a continuous storage speed of 3,000 MB per second. Equipped with 4 DDR4 slots, supporting memory modules up to 16GB, the total memory can be expanded up to 64GB; Equipped with PCI-E3.0 expansion slots, which can be used to expand 10 Gigabit network cards (2 SFP+ optical ports) and hard arrays RAID cards and other equipment.
Equipped with four network interfaces, with the function of network aggregation (Link Aggregation), even if a network interface fails, the server access will not be interrupted, which greatly reduces the probability of unwarranted connection interruption. In addition, the Link Aggregation function breaks through the limitation of the network transmission speed of a single network port, and has the additional load balancing function that automatically balances the network traffic, thus providing customers with high-speed and stable data transmission. Although the hard disk has a large capacity and is cost-effective, it is not as fast as an SSD. Using SSD cache technology in the hard disk array will optimize the user’s response speed when accessing data, and the transmission performance can be improved by about 25%.
The enterprise version of TOS provides a graphical interface that allows you to flexibly manage user accounts and storage space, and provides you with strict server security defense and optimized storage space management. Sending alarm notifications allows you to keep abreast of server status. The enterprise version of TOS operating system provides a variety of professional applications, one TNAS device is better than dozens of devices, such as: file server, mail server, website server, VPN server, DHCP server, DNS server, Rsync remote server, FTP server and MySQL server, etc. TOS provides a variety of strict security defense methods, such as: password login, https access, firewall, and supports AES256-bit disk encryption security protection mechanism to prevent the risk of data leakage due to theft or loss of hard disks
Using server clusters, combine two TerraMaster NAS into one cluster. One of the servers is used as a working active server and the other server is used as a backup passive server. The active server handles data requests and services while continuously replicating everything to the passive server. This provides a comprehensive hardware and data redundancy solution in the event of an unforeseen event. TNAS.online is TerraMaster’s unique and efficient remote access platform. By registering a common and easy-to-remember ID, you can remotely access your TNAS device anytime, anywhere. You can back up data from Mac, PC, USB external devices, and servers to TNAS for centralized management. TerraMaster backup application supports data deduplication and incremental backup technology, which greatly reduces storage space occupation.
The TNAS server supports the Btrfs file system. The Btrfs file system adopts more advanced storage technology. Through snapshot, rollback, defragmentation and other functions, it can prevent data damage, reduce maintenance costs, and make your data storage more secure.
