Plex NAS under 300

 I’m looking for a NAS to store mainly video files (to feed to my tv) and also back up my photos and the
other occasional important files. Videos are all currently just HD but when I have funds for a
4k tv I would like to be able to stream 4k files from the server too. Ideally by plex. I’m also open
to a direct feed from the NAS via HDMI. That’s pretty much it
Will start with 2gb and upgrade after, not included in the 300£ budget.

 

There is actually one option for you with this budget and it is TS-251A. It will let you easily backup your photos and stream videos to a TV. It also comes with an HDMI port, which is perfect for High Definition video file playback without slowing down the network. It is also upgradable at the later stage.

There is also Plex server app available for this model for better video file organizing and playback on multiple devices.
