Surveillance cameras for Boats

I recently had a boat built and had the builders install a CCTV system for me from Cmac CCTV (big mistake!) upon handover last week it became apparent that the vivotek anti ligature cameras were not compatible. The cmac ones are fine, however upon contacting cmac they were unhelpful and have left me searching for a solution!

Surveillance on the boat is very different question than usually, I get. But the idea is the same as in any other scenario- you need to start with a compatibility list and work the way from there: https://www.synology.com/en-uk/compatibility/camera .
Cmac cameras are not listed among compatible ones, but there might be a way they still could be connected. You will find Reolink cameras discussed quite a lot on the website as they seem to be the most popular choice.
