HS-453DX noise and heat test

We will be conducting noise and heat tests later this month, along with full Plex performance tests to give you a full breakdown of the performance of the HS-453DX, but for now, I can say that this could potentially be my favorite NAS of 2018.

 

This NAS really surprised us with its performance. Slightly bigger in size then its predecessor, but it cools better with a bigger metal surface on the top.
With Wd Red drives inside we heard no noise and even though we didn’t use a thermometer to check exact temperatures- it was way cooler than the previous model (around 20-30Celsius).
