Plex NAS under 500

I want a Plex media server NAS. I want something with two ethernet ports so I can use link aggregation. I also want something that can transcode easily and on the fly without destroying the CPU. 4k support would be nice also, as I don’t want to have to purchase a new NAS for at least 5-6 years…I have watched all of your Youtube videos but there are too many options. I want something good so that I will never have to worry about buffering.

You have just described DS918+. You can start with 3 WD Red 6TB drives and add one later. Therefore making good value for money and not losing space because of RAID1. It will work as Plex media server and even transcode Full HD movies with no problems. No need for SSD cache, but can be used in future if you decide to build database server or something similar.
