DS1620xs Xeon based NAS and PLEX transcoding

I am wondering if the new DS 1620xs xeon processor will do plex transcoding. I currently have a DS 218+ it is a nice small nas but. I want do do more. I am also thinking of future proofing as well.

New DS1620xs will transcode even 4K media just like its brother ds3018xs. But it doesn’t feature transcoding engine which means, while transcoding is in process other running apps will have very limited resources available. If Synology used Intel core i processors or even Pentium, then problem like this wouldn’t exist.
