RAM upgrade for Synology NAS in USA

Memory Recommendation

Good day Robbie…. The Memory upgrade Brand recommendations here I presume were based using the older DSM 6…. Would you feel comfortable still recommending these now that DSM 7 is near, in case 7 is finicky on what Memory it likes. And you mentioned that “Dual Rank” should be specified, but its not clear ( to me at least) on the Amazon sell pages. And the Crucial Brand is currently unavailable here on the states.. Any thoughts on the ARCH Brand? https://tinyurl.com/vkj2h5p4 -They actually show “Replacement for Synology”! on the label. I’m planning a modest 4GB addition to my 920+….

This is a single RANK memory, therefore you need to pay attention to match all the other specs like frequency. I would trust Arch memory. Also, it should work on DSM7. We tested Crucial memory and it was just fine.
