Synology Official Product Pages for the Brand New DS920+, DS220+, DS720+ and DS420+ NAS are up
Good news for those of you who are wondering about the release of the recently revealed diskstation 20+ series that we uncovered earlier this week, with synology.tw product pages for each new NAS now live on their website. Although these pages all but confirm everything we knew about the hardware and software specifications of the new DS220+, DS920+, DS420+ and DS720+ NAS drive, they also include a bunch more new information in the specifications (power consumption, noise values, software compatibility and support) and further information in the compatibility of these new servers with other hardware. Generally,, this means that we will be seeing product pages for other regions in the world on their respective Synology official pages in the coming week or so, which gives us a much clearer view of release on these new NAS drives. Synology is a brand that had a remarkably tight record on product secrecy and I think it would be fair to say that they have kept a lid on these new releases in a near bulletproof way till now. These pages are either a response to the leaking of official documents earlier this week, or more likely part of their own existing release strategy and we merely caught them at the tail end of this. Regardless of the reason, the fact the official pages for these new releases are starting to emerge only further indicates that these new releases are coming relatively soon (my guess is that they will start to emerge in the market in the next 2 months gradually) and if you are in the market the buy a brand new NAS drive in 2020 and want the most cutting edge hardware the company have to offer, this can only be good news.

Hi, for the DS420+ NAS you’ve got “72.11 BTU / hr (HDD Hibernation)” is that correct? It looks out of place amongst the other three.
Are the 2x 2280 NVME SSDs in the DS720+ just a SSD-Cache or can they also be used as a SSD-Volume?
