QNAP TS-451A or TS-453A or Synology DS418

QNAP TS-451A or TS-453A or Synology DS418

I am evaluating NAS with the following requirements:
1. empty 4-bay chassis, I will add 4x6TB drives myself
2. 4K streaming/transcoding via HDMI to the 4K TV (for now, FullHD, but 4K soon)
3. SD card slot is welcome (to store photos and 4K videos from the camera quickly)
4. low noise.
Right now my shortlist contains QNAP TS-451A and TS-453A, and Synology DS418.
All their other storage and filesharing features seem to be pretty similar. But can you tell me your professional opinion, which of three is better? Or maybe I am missing some different NAS make/model, which suites my requirements even better?

All three NAS models will cope with 4K streaming. DS418 does not have HDMI port, but if your TV is network enabled this is not an issue (you can stream through the network).

SD card slot is useful if do not have USB adapter or do not want to connect cards this way. Speed using cable or SD card slot will not change. 51A series are not as powerful as other NAS but will cope with tasks you require.  DS418 will be powerful enough to transcode new generation h265 encoding format 4K video, but it will not transcode as good with an older h264 format. Qnap x51A and x53A are quite opposite – they will transcode older h264 format but will struggle with new generation 4K files. But connected to HDMI you should be able to stream both 4K formats and it will also not overload your network. For network 4K multi-format transcoding I would recommend DS918+ NAS. It is more expensive but far more powerful.

So if I need to pick one of these, I would pick TS-453A, but if the budget can be stretched little further than DS918+.
