QNAP TS-351 compatible RAM

QNAP TS-351 compatible RAM

I ordered the QNAP TS-351 and wanted to do a RAM upgrade. I bought a 4GB Corsair ValueSelect DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM CL11 module (1.35 V). While it fits the recommended QNAP specs, my NAS won’t boot (not the QNAP ADATA RAM product). Since you mentioned a RAM upgrade for this NAS, I am curoius which RAM you used.

I always recommend using Crucial memory. This seem to work all the time while other brands do not.

Just make sure you have same frequency RAM.  DDR3 SODIMM 204PIN  1600MHZ memory.

  1. Hello, by chance have you tried out any 8gb modules in the nas? If yes and supposedly it had been working , which one? 🙂

  2. Hello, I wonder if you have tested the unit with any other bigger memory 8Gb or any.
If yes, what was working in that ts-351?

Do I understand it correctly, even if I find samsung memory unit or kingstone or crucial, they will not work in ts-351 only these referenced memory units?
