Direct play is not available issue- how to make the indirect connection direct?

Hi, I´ve got a Synology DS218, 2x 4TB NAS and I would like to play all my media all around the world. I managed to get it working (allowed some ports on router) but every time I want to connect to my NAS, a popup comes by: “Direct play is not available” and so the connection is going through their “Relay”. I read about it and I found out that indirect play is limited to 2mbps (I´ve got a Plex Pass). Do you know how to fix this issue – to make the indirect connection direct? Is there an issue with my ports or something different?

I am a Plex Pass subscriber and everything (DSM, Plex package) is up to date.

Here is what I found: ”

Enable Remote Access

Successfully enabling “Remote Access” for your Plex Media Server means that your apps will be able to connect with your server directly when away from home. That direct connection will allow the apps to stream at higher qualities and the connection will be more efficient.

You can find the Remote Access area under Settings > Server > Remote Access in the Plex Web App. In many cases, everything will work automatically. For some people, it may require doing something such as manually forwarding a port on your router.

You can also try their troubleshooting guide: https://support.plex.tv/articles/200289506-remote-access/

I hope this helps.
