Would like to know the difference between Synology DS1618+ vs DS3018x
Which would be better for home and business Use , media server, 4K etc.
Already have a DS1512+ so thinking up upgrading
If you liked D1512+ you will also like DS1618+ which is a good upgrade option. It comes with a lot of potential thanks to its PCIe slot and 4 LAN ports. It will allow you to stream 4K as well as regular full HD videos. DS3018xs is a premium NAS as XS letters indicate. It can do all previously mentioned things and also transcode wide range of 4K files. This allows you to watch your video content even outside the home from a remote location. It will so much faster NAS.
