I have a QNAP TVS-672N of which I am using as a Plex media server. I have already upgraded the CPU to an Intel i7-8700, and was wondering what the best GPU would be to install to help with hardware accelerated transcoding. I was think of the quadro p2000 but am unsure about whether that is the right choice.
Well done with CPU upgrade! Many people do this.
Regarding GPU, you may need to contact Qnap, by default they do not support GPU to be used for other then VMs.
