QNAPs naming schema – what does model number mean

QNAPs naming schema makes me crazy.

I have a TS-463-RP (with 10GB card)

Looking at what’s sold on ebay, the TS-463XU-RP is there more.

I did try to figure this out before I emailed you! When I look for what the X means, most people say it’s related to a 10GB card, but, both of these NAS came with one.

Thank you as always.

Yes, TS-463XU-RP means this.

TS– turbo station

4 – 4 bays

63 – performance score compared to other NAS

X – 10GbE

U– rack mount

RP – redundant power supply
