QSW-1208-8C user review

My Qnap QSW-1208-8C died after three years. No throughput, dropped signals, erratic internet connections. Process of elimination lead me to the switch. Back to a good old fashioned Cisco 1gbe and I’m solid as a rock. Is it worth replacing the 10Gbe switch? My environment: I work in close proximity and found the 1208 annoying. I’m running RJ45. I have a 10gbe thunderbolt adapter for my 2020 Mac mini M1, an OWC Thunderbay Mini with 4 x 4TB SSD’s running in Raid 0 connected with Thunderbolt 3 for short term projects with huge files, and a 10Gbe card in my Synology 3018xs for primary storage and strong backup to Synology C2.

3. If yes on the 10gbe replacement, which box would you recommend?
