SAMSUNG Neo QLED 4K Smart TV, 65

I am writing you from Hungary, so sorry for the spelling.
I am now a Synology NAS user with a 415play, and I use my 4x4TB to store movies and direct play at home (LAN). At this time I am not on the way, the trancoding and the remote access is not so important. From now on, I have a new 4k TV Samsung QE65QN95AATXXH and i would like to watch 4k movie from my NAS. This is not possible, and therefore I am planing to buy a new NAS from Synology. The plan was the DS920+ but I watched the many videos on the youtube and I am not sure it would work. I want to make a direct play on my TV over UTP, no wifi.
Shoud I buy the DS920+ with 8 GB RAM or it won’t work?

Maybe I found a wrong spec page but it looks like this TV supports only HEVC / H.265 codec, this would mean converting all videos into h265 MKV. If this is true, DS920+ would be able transcode videos into supported format.

But you may as well consider an HDMI dongle such as Amazon 4k fire tv or Android 4k. This way your TV would not be a bottleneck.

I would suggest having a look at manual you received in the box with a full list of supported video formats.

I hope this helps.
