We’re a small business operating online. 5PCs that I take disk images and want to store and then upload to cloud. Also quite a bit of file backups but all in all I suspect I will not fill more than 4TB…had a look at your review of the TS-453B but it seems a bit overkill? Won’t use it to stream media or anything like that…
Indeed that will be overkill. TS253A will have enough power to deal with all backup tasks. If you really need just bare minimum then you can consider TS-251. Qnap P series will be already too weak for 5 people environment. Qnap has outstanding apps available all free of charge. Also incremental backups and versioning. So you can go back in time and get yesterday’s version of some document or even older. And this is just a tip of an iceberg.
