My Dune HD player has just ended life and I want to replace it. At the same time my old QNAP-212 is reaching end of life with one of disks failing. I first thought of replacing the media player with something like:

and then after a while replace QNAP T-212. Having watched some of your great videos I thought why not not consider all-in-one solution and go with a NAS matching or exceeding the capabilities of X20. I wonder if you could check the specification and suggest a NAS solution with HDMI.
Dune HD player looks like a great media server with HDMI2.0. The only worry is the support. Not sure how issues would be resolved.
The alternative to this would be Asustor AS6302T which also features the same connectivity and supports 4K media.
With NAS you can also run things like Surveillance and Dropbox alternative. There are many more things you do.
