Samsung 860 Pro vs WD Red SA500 vs Seagate IronWolf 125 SSD

Compatible SATA SSD storage for DS920+

I have been following your videos for some time and I decided to buy a Synology DS920+.
I need your advise for I am a bit confused with regards to compatible storage SSD for the above model.
I’d rather use SSD instead of HDD, for I had several “traumatic” experiences with crashing mechanical disks in the past!!!
I would be happy with two or three 500GB SSD to begin with and, before spending any money, I was wondering whether any of the following models would work with my Synology:
– Samsung 860 Pro SSD 512GB
– Western Digital Red 500GB NAS SSD
– Seagate IronWolf 125 SSD 500GB
If none of the above are compatible, which reliable alternative I should go for?

If you are looking for the most reliable SSD to use in 3.5inch drive bays then answer is Seagate Ironwolf 125.

Here is the list of TBW scores:

Samsung 860 Pro SSD 512GB  – 600TBW

Western Digital Red 500GB NAS SSD – 350TBW
Seagate IronWolf 125 SSD 500GB   700TBW
