NAS for editing with capture 11 one pro

I am already a user of a DS414 4x10TB.
a) The Base use is for a family of 3, backups or front end with local backup. All documents including video and photos.
b) the more intensive use giving the bottlenecks is semiprofessional photography : raw (86mb/pic) + jpeg (14/pic), editing with capture 11 one pro, huge data accumulated (after 1 year 2 TB). 2 access/work points : one at home (Ethernet), second access planned via remote via laptop (like a Microsoft surface or MACbook pro – it’s a plan !). In the future, instead of 4 bays, I think about more, possibly via extension.
What would be a good high end and with what kind of accessories. I want to know what the best performance for money and long term (!) solution would be. Speed, access for edit, comes from the timing before back up and show. the 4 points are my solution.

What you are looking for Qnap TS-453BT3 (or at least TS-453Be with 10g card installed). You can connect it over Thunderbolt to a MAC. Or connect to a MAC or PC over 10GbE connection. Or if you have a managed switch then you can enable link aggregation with combined LAN ports and a dual LAN card or dual LAN USB adapter on a PC or MAC.

It will be a fast solution and also expandable. And RAID protection will be a very safe option to keep your data accessible even if a drive fails.
