NVME NAS

Are there any NAS’s that use nvme ssd’s instead of the the usual sata interface?

I realize nvme are far faster than any ethernet or wifi can support butI have a few nvme sitting around that aren’t be used right now.

I saw that QNAP came out with the TBS-453DX but the specs show SATA is this correct?

TBS-453DX does not support NVMe SSD. The NVMe speed is many times faster than regular SATA speed. There is no NVMe NAS ready built. But qnap have released two and four M.2 NVMe cards. You install it in a NAS like TS-253Be or TS-453Be and enjoy the increased performance thanks to increased read and write speeds. If you don’t want to buy cards then the only NAS with NVMe slots is 3bay model TS-351,  and Synology DS918+.
