DS218+ mirror folders between 2 nas drices
I.m new with nas
I’ve just ordered DS218+
I will have two 8tb drives inside. I don’t want to mirror them
I want to mirror only few folders between them (about 3tb)
The rest of the space I want to use for non important media files.
Can I do it?
And how?
Yes, you can create two basic volumes. One in disk one and second on disk two. So this way you will get more available storage space. You can then create separate shared folder which you are going to be backing up automatically to the second hard drive.
You can use Hyper Backup app to do this.
