Unofficial M.2 SSD cache card
Hi, I own a Qnap 253be with 16GB ram and was wondering if I could use this PCIe card: ICY BOX PCI Express Card, M.2 NVMe SSD to PCIe 3.0 Adapter, Radiator, LED Lighting, M-Key, 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, Black
With this SSD storage: Crucial MX500 CT250MX500SSD4 250GB (3D NAND, SATA, M.2 Type 2280SS, Internes SSD)
My intention is to have a VM (windows 7) Ruiz as responsive and fast as possible.
It is not on the Qnap compatibility list. But if I need to make an educated guess then I would say it will work. We have tried Startech dual M.2 SSD adapter card and it saw one of the SSDs. So I would say yes.
