Synology has recently confirmed HW Transcoding has been disabled on the DS425+. There's a thread on Reddit and the Plex forums with information about this [REPLY]

You don't use putty in Mac. Copy the script normally by uploading a file to your NAS somewhere. Use ssh in terminal to connect to your NAS and execute the [REPLY]
